Kyle Conerty was born and raised in Napa, California. He grew up in a middle class family, and took a shining to Italian culture and bicycle road racing. Shortly after his senior year, an Italian road racing team came to town. This thrilled Kyle, and he relished the opportunity to ride with his idols. Unfortunately, the Italians were less than friendly, shoving a bike pump in his tire, resulting in a nasty crash. Kyle decided to get revenge by forming his own riding team and entering the Little 500, which he won on the very last lap.*
Shortly thereafter, Kyle began attending San Diego State University, where he majored in Political Science. He chose that major mainly because of his love for Law & Order and his admiration for the loose cannon that was ADA Jack McCoy. Unfortunately, Kyle had more fun spending time on the beach rather than in the classroom. He knew he needed a change upon viewing Van Wilder and realizing the best he could do if he stayed at San Diego State for seven years was date Tara Reid. It was time to transfer.
Given his complete lack of artistic background and skills, it was only natural that he enroll at The Art Institute of California - San Francisco. He graduated with a B.S. in Advertising, which is really quite fitting when you think about it.
Kyle has worked in agencies big and small, and since January 2014, he has been freelancing with Google Brand Studio.
