2018 was a helluva year—but when we dove into the year’s Search Trends, we found something unexpected: the world searched for "good" more than ever before. Using this insight as our guide, Year in Search 2018 celebrates the good that’s always around us. Sometimes, you just have to search for it.
For the first time in the history of the Year in Search campaign, we also created an interactive quiz, “Game of the Year,” based on the year’s top trending searches. The game was built using Google Cloud's WaveNet Voice, powered by Google's Machine Learning technology.
